Founder story
Founded by Björn Jakobson and his sister-in-law Elsa in Sweden. Björn got the idea for a baby bouncer while visiting the US in 1960. His wife Lillemor, a textile designer, joined in 1962. The couple's children were born 11 months apart, real 'two under two' experience. In 2018, ownership passed to the second generation of the family.
Materials
All textiles OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1 certified (highest standard for baby products). Some products in organic cotton (GOTS certified). Also use bluesign® Grade A certification. Develop most fabrics in-house for quality control.
Sustainability
Partnered with Rebelstork for secondhand resale programme. Encourages lower wash temperatures. Uses recycled polyester in some lines (e.g. woven carriers: 65% recycled polyester). Logistics centre in Sweden since founding.
